During the enrollment, biometric information from an individual is stored. During the test, biometric information is detected and compared with the stored information.
Firex Security provides two types of Biometric readers, standalone and networked with the possibility of having the finger print template to be stored either in the database of the reader with limited number of users that ranges from 500 till 50000 or the template can be stored on a card and hence we have an unlimited number of individuals and this is what we call 1:1 verification.
There is a high level integration between the access control and biometric readers provided by Firex Security where you can do the enrollment of all the individuals from the access control software itself and no need to have enrolling software installed on your PC separately.
